Fodika (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Fodika platform, including our white-label restaurant apps, web ordering apps, and merchant dashboard (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Services.

- Account Information: Name, phone number, and email address provided during registration.
- Order Data: Details of orders placed through restaurant apps powered by Fodika.
- Loyalty Data: Points earned, tier status, vouchers redeemed, and engagement history.
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, device type, operating system, and app usage patterns.
- WhatsApp Communications: Order confirmations and loyalty notifications sent via WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta).
- WhatsApp Authentication: Phone number verification via WhatsApp for secure account access. We use WhatsApp's Customer Service Window (CSW) to send verification links. No message content is stored beyond verification status.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and improve our Services.
- To process orders and manage loyalty accounts.
- To verify your phone number via WhatsApp for secure authentication.
- To send transactional notifications via WhatsApp (order updates, loyalty events).
- To generate analytics for restaurant merchants (aggregated and anonymized).
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with:
- Restaurant Merchants: Limited to their own customers' order and loyalty data.
- Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API): For phone verification and transactional messaging. Meta processes messages according to their Business Policy.
- Cloud Hosting Providers: For secure data storage and platform operation.
All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements.
5. Cookies
Our web ordering apps use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by following our Data Deletion Instructions or by contacting us at business@fodika.app.
